We are pleased to present our latest Joomla Component - DJ-Classifieds. There are very few such free extensions so we are hoping for a lot of interest. The component is written natively for Joomla 1.5 MVC model so it’s easy for visual adaptation. Good advertising portal for CMS Joomla was still a problem, but we're sure that with our extension it will be easier to implement such services.

Component  allows to:

• Collect and display ads from multiple categories
• nested categories
  
• adding advertisements from the front by a registered or unregistered users
• charging for ads with the possibility of establishing individual rates for each category
• charging for highlighted/promoted announcements (paypal)
  
• adding any number of images to the classified (the limit can be configured by administrator)
• communication with the advertiser by special form

In addition, available modules:

• DJ_Classifieds items – listings by criteria (recent, popular or random)
• DJ_Classifieds menu - generates a menu with all categories
• DJ_Classifieds search - simple serach

Component is relatively easy to use. However, we have prepared a guide.

JM-Classifieds template was created to illustrate the possibility of component- DJ Classifieds.

The component can be useful for everyone, especially for leading portals or social networking sites based on Joomla! CMS. Visitors can add their ads in various categories and the site owner can charge them for it. Template also uses the dj_menu module and another DJ_TickerNews module - a simple rotator of our articles. Three color modules on top of the page are DJ_Classifieds items displaying popular, recently added, and random ads. You can turn them off for sub-pages everywhere, or use it everywhere depending to your needs.
