Dj catalog is a universal component which meets these expectations,  may serve as a directory of products or specific galleries. Thanks to a flexible structure can be easily customized to your individual visual requirements.

To the component there are modules attached that displays a directory of categories, a list of manufacturers, and the most interesting module based on Ajax technology, which is used for the presentation of the directory from selected category/categories.

Extension installation is simple. You can make it in two ways.

1. Using the installer "3 + 1 pack" which contains the main component, and three modules.
install in the usual way as other extensions - by the extension manager in the administration panel.

2. Install each of the extensions separately ( for those who do not want to use all modules)

Working with configuration and component

Standard settings are available from the standard parameter icon.

In the global component's parameters you can set the following:

• number of items to be displayed per page
• currency
• location of the price field
  
• show whether the price is showed or not (off parameter can be used as a specific component for the gallery)
  
• smaller thumbnail's dimensions (width and height)
  
• normal thumbnail's dimensions (width and height)
  

Products in the directory can be placed in any category or subcategory or may be uncategorized.

Adding and editing products will not cause problems to anyone. It's that simple.

Notice the ability of adding multiple images and other attachments (technical documentation , product cards in PDF for example). In hands of a proficient webmaster this component can be a really powerful tool for presentation of products.

From frontend the products can be presented in a few ways.

• Blog of the products from categories.
• Table of the product from categories.
• A single product

Simply set the menu for the element type:

There is also the menu module (categories), and producer's listing module. In the parameters of both modules, we can set the category (in a blog or table style)

The key to a good presentation is, however, the FrontPage module.

In the parameters of the module, we have a few basic settings:

• possibility of turning on and off the item title
  
• inclusion, exclusion of the pagination
  
• set the display order of elements
  
• setting the amount of columns and rows for thumbnails
