What do you need?

• an exact copy of Joomla installation ( ZIP format or JPA format)
• file kickstart.php (unpacks the archive on the server)

Via FTP upload the script kickstart.php and received package  in the common directory on your server.

Open the directory and run the kickstart.php script from your browser.

Select your archive file, and press Start.

After completion of the process, you can start Joomla installation.

Installation is carried out in a new browser window:

1. Choose language and click NEXT:

2. The system checks the compatibility, click NEXT:

3. Terms of the license, click NEXT

4. Configuration database, enter a host (usually localhost) the user name and password and database name, click NEXT:

5. Ftp configuration, click NEXT

6. The main configuration page, enter the name, address, e-mail address and password, click NEXT

7. This phase of the installation is completed.

8. Installation is carried out in a new browser window. Back to the kickstart window and press "here to activate" button to complete the process:

9. Switch back from the window of the installation and click SITE to go directly to your website frontpage or click ADMIN to go to the admin menu:
