In software development, a functional specification (also, functional spec or specs or functional specifications document (FSD) or Program specification) is the set of documentation that describes the requested behavior of an engineering system. The documentation typically describes what is needed by the system user as well as requested properties of inputs and outputs (e.g. of the software system). A functional specification does not define the inner workings of the proposed system; it does not include the specification how the system function will be implemented. Instead, it focuses on what various outside agents (people using the program, computer peripherals, or other computers, for example) might "observe" when interacting with the system. Acceptance of the project::The draft of the component must be approved before its implementation. It's hard to correct the key elements of the programming during the works. Therefore, before approving think precisely about this document. Make the comments, suggestions or questions.

Execution, testing and implementation::At this stage, the developer performs the component's code keeping closely to the approved draft. The next step is internal testing and referral to the client. After receiving a list of bugs work is almost completed. Now simply apply the relevant amendments and follow package instructions.
